We cater to children's riding lessons between the ages of 6 years old to 18 years old. All students must start in private lessons. Lesson are one hour long and start at $130/month for four private lessons. Group lessons are available after graduating from private lessons.
Our focus is to teach the basic fundamentals of safe and proper riding, including horsemanship. We want students to be safe and self-sufficient. Our goal is to give students confidence in trouble shooting problems that arise during training, unexpected situations in the surrounding environment, and behavioral issues.
Not only will students learn to ride, but they will learn the basics of good horsemanship. They will be taught how to handle horses from the ground and in the saddle. They will learn how to halter, groom, and tack a horse.
Our lessons cover walk, trot/jog, and canter/lope. We teach English and Western styles of riding. Students will be required to have a properly fitted ASTM/SEI certified, equestrian helmet, boots with heels, and proper riding breeches or jeans.
